Kumbum monastery is one of the six great monasteries of the Yellow sect or Gelugpa of Tibetan Buddhism,it is located on the south-west side of Xining or Siling which is the capital city of Qinghai province. Birth place of master Tsongkhapa and who is founder of the yellow-sect or Gelugpa school of Tibetan Buddhism. Qinghai lake is the largest inland and salt water lake in China.located in west of Xining.

Kumbula national park is a canyon with soaring red rock cliff and turquoise waters,hike 2 hours on the well paved plank road inside the park ,you will overlook the yellow river, monasteries, pass forests and colorful prayer flags.

Tongren (Rephong in Tibetan) is an amiable midsized monastery town of Tibetan monks and Hui shop owners, both of whom cater to the valley’s many monasteries, for sev-earl centuries now, the villages outside town have been famous for producing some of the Tibetan world’s best thangkas and painted status,so much so that an entire school of Tibetan art is named after the town.

Labrang monastery was founded by Yamyang Shepa in 1709, He was famous Gelugpa master who graduated from Drepung monastery and when he was quite old.he returned to his hometown and built the monastery.The monastery is located in Xia He county of Gansu province and it is the main Gelugpa monastery in Amdo.

Machu is a nomadic county and Machu is also flourishing the origin of civilisation the epic hero of Gesar the king of Ling and the home land of Tibetan traditional horse racing festival and first place where Amdo guitar is flourishing and maintaining it and Machu is also first home land of Asia’s largest pasture and the origin of Tibetan draught animals, this incredible county is located in central of three provinces which are Gansu, Qinghai and Sichuan, camp at Machu one night.

In the morning we will drive to Awancang wet land 38kilometers away from Machu county.afternoon we drive to Lhamo monastery.the monastery was founded in 1748 by Chi Gemtsan Sanggey, It is a famous monastery of Gelugpa sect in Tibetan Buddhism, it is situated some 90 kilometers from Luqu county,

Tagana means (stone box) in Tibetan language,For hundreds of years ,local Tibetans lived here in harmony with the nature. Today is the last day of our trip,if you want to buy some special local product ,please just let me know it. In the morning we will visit Gansu museum and Zhongshan Bridge. After lunch we will drive to LanShan mountain Top.we can enjoy the scenery of Lanzhou city. 

In the morning you will visit Lanshan Mountian geet panoramic view of Lanzhou city and You are free to visit Lanzhou city until your airport or train station reporting time. After that drop to airport/station for final departure.
