The Tibet with Mount Everest Base Camp Tour is a very comprehensive tour of Tibet with visits to the cultural, historic and natural attractions of Tibet. The tour includes all the important places of interest in central & south Tibet including a visit to Rongphu Monastery and Mt. Everest Base Camp. After flying in to Lhasa from Kathmandu, Chengdu or Beijing, explore the cultural and historic sites of Lhasa, Shigatse and Gyantse. Afterwards drive overland, in 4-WD jeeps, across the Tibetan highlands and high passes to the fabled Rongphu Monastery and Mt. Everest Base Camp from where the view of the great North face of Mount Everest is the most spectacular and it is a dream tour for everybody.
You will visit Lhasa, the political and religious center of the Holy Land in Tibet and enjoy world-renowned Potala Palace; Jokhang temple, built in 1300 years ago; some significant monasteries of Gelug sect, such as drepung monastery and Sera monastery; Namtso lake and Yamdrok Lake of three holy lakes; the cradle of Tibetan civilization Shannan; and Shigatse. Of course the highlight of this tour is Mount Everest, the highest peak on the summit of the Earth.

Day 01: Arrive Lhasa (3606m), meet with guide and transfer to Hotel, Visit Jokhang Temple.
Day 02: Lhasa Sightseeing; Visit, Potala Palace, Norbulinka, Drepung and Barkhor Market
Day 03: Lhasa - Yamdrok Lake - Gyantse (3900m) Drive.
Day 04: Gyantse Sightseeing of Kubum and Pachor Chod Monastery & Shigatse Sightseeing of Tashilhungpo Monastery.
Day 05: Shigatse - Rongphuk Monastery (5050m) Drive & Explore EBC.
Day 06: Back to Shigatse (3800m) Drive.
Day 07: Back to Lhasa Drive.
Day 08: Free until airport or train time and drop off for flight or train.
