Gosainkunda is the divine place of all Hindu peoples. It consists of many holy lakes at an altitude of 4,380m. People believe that the holy water of the lake washes off their sins. Thousands of people trek to this glacial lake every year to meet their cultural as well as natural need. The trek passes through the varied landscapes and green forest ranging from subtropical to alpine environment, terraced fields, waterfalls, streams, hills and super scenic mountains view.
The Gosaikunda Lake Trek is one of the shortest trekking trail near Kathmandu, It can be started after half an hour drive to Sundarijal alternatively. This trek is important to experience Himalayan trail with magnificient Himalayan views along the way but also it is one of the important trek as a pilgrimage trip.
Autumn & Spring
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu. (1,300m)
Day 02: Kathmandu city sightseeing
Day 03: Kathmandu to Dhunche. (1,920m)
Day 04: Dhunche to Sing Gompa. (3220 m)
Day 05: Sing Gompa to Lauribinayek. (4380 m)
Day 06: Trek to Gosaikunda and back to Lauribinayek.
Day 07: Lauribinayek to Dhunche.
Day 08: Drive back from Dhunche to Kathmandu.
Day 09: Transfer to airport for departure from Nepal.
