Ganden to Samye trek explores Central and south Tibet including the Yarlung Tsangpo Valley, the cradle of Tibetan civilization. Additionally it includes a short 5 days trek. Ganden-Samye trek is a 5 days trek that connects two of Tibet\\\'s most important monasteries of Ganden and Samye.
It offers fantastic walking, superb scenery, and interaction with Tibetan villagers and highland nomads. It is a fairly demanding trek and crosses two passes over 5000 meters. Participants must be physically strong and in good health. This trip is for those who have limited time to have experience both trekking and sightseeing tour. This trip completes 5 days wonderful trip near Lhasa and it is the only option to take trekking arround Lhasa. And also it completes sightseeing in Tsedang and Lhasa valley.
April to November
DAY 01: Arrive Lhasa and transfer to Hotel.
DAY 02: Lhasa sightseeing - visit Norbulinka, Drepung and Nechung Monastery
DAY 03: Lhasa sightseeing - visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Sera Monastery and Barkhor Tibetan Market.
DAY 04: Lhasa - Ganden Drive and visit Ganden Monastery.
DAY 05: Trek Ganden to Hepu Nomad Camp - 7 hrs - Camping
DAY 06: Trek Hepu to Yema Do (4450m) - 7 hrs - Camping
DAY 07: Trek Yema Do to Chitup Chu (4907m) - 6 hrs - Camping
DAY 08: Trek Chitup Chu over Chitula Pass (5210m) to Herders Camp - 8 hrs - Camping
DAY 09: Drive from Herders to Samye and visit Samye Monastery. - Guest House.
DAY 10: Drive to Lhasa enroute visit Yumbulhakhang and Tsonge Tomb.
DAY 11: Lhasa Free day for personal purpose.
DAY 12: Free until airport time and Drop to airport for final departure.
